A friend posted this recently on their Facebook page. I saved it because I thought it was a great idea…I love reading but I can’t honestly remember the last book I read. I use the excuse I haven’t got the time but really, I could make the time…couldn’t I?
I call myself ‘an active relaxer’ – I bake, I knit, I sew, I cook, I clean! 🙂 so sitting still and reading will require a conscious approach but I am going to give it a go. 2016 is the year !
In fact, I bought a book at the Auckland International Airport last April 2015 to read on the plane…never did…it travelled to Melbourne & back and has sat on my desk gathering dust ever since.
Picnic in Provence by Elizabeth Bard – a delicious memoir, with recipes it says on the front cover 🙂 just 355 pages, it will my first book from the challenge – A Book Set in Another Country.
Is anyone else up for this challenge. Be warned. It requires you to put yourself first, an put your feet up! No distractions…will you make the time?
